What happens if I accidentally get my device wet?Updated 2 years ago
The invisaWear charm is sweat and weather resistant, so it should be fine if you get caught in the rain or if you're sweating from working out. We don’t recommend wearing it in the shower or submerging it in water. We are currently creating a waterproof edition, however we do not have a release date just yet.
Unfortunately, if your invisaWear device got mistakenly wet it can cause corrosion to the sensitive technology inside the charm. We recommend placing a test alert to ensure the device is working properly.
To place a test alert, please press the three horizontal lines in the upper left hand corner of the invisaWear app. Then tap "Place Test Alert" from the menu. Once you're on the test alert page, you can double press your invisaWear to send a test alert and double check that it's working.
Unfortunately, if water damage is found this voids the warranty so you would not be eligible for a free replacement. We're very sorry, but you are more than welcome to purchase a replacement at a discounted cost.
