What do my Emergency Contacts need to do?Updated 2 years ago
Your emergency contacts will not need to download the invisaWear app.
Once you add someone as your emergency contact they should receive a default text letting them know you have added them as an emergency contact and to confirm if they've received the message.
Depending which mode you have selected in the additional features, during a test alert your emergency contacts will receive an alert letting them know it was just a test. During an emergency if you are in mode 2 or 3 if you do not answer the call after initiating an emergency alert an ADT agent will immediately notify 9-1-1 and notify your emergency contacts with your up to date location. Premium features also include the ability to set activity tracking timers to share your location with ADT and emergency contacts for a period of time.
We recommend that your emergency contacts also save the following numbers below so they can recognize in case you are ever in an emergency.
Please save the following numbers:

Name the contacts "INVISAWEAR + ADT EMERGENCY"
*PLEASE DO NOT CALL THESE NUMBERS, THESE ARE THE SPECIFIC PHONE NUMBERS THAT WILL CONTACT YOU IN AN EMERGENCY*
Pro Tip: Toggle the emergency bypass ringtone when saving these numbers so you can hear the alert even if your phone is on silent. You can even set the ringtone as an alarm if you want!
